Is substantially all the government money injected into AIG and the top tier banks is accumulating as we speak in the Treasury market to the extent it has not been siphoned off by collateral calls for the benefit of hedge fund operators who understood just how risky to the banks were the default swaps on which these operators were happy to take the other side, because they had worked for years in these same banks and knew the bank positions sooner or later were bound to explode to the banks’ ruin and their own nearly unimaginable profit?

Is the greatest bank robbery in history now playing out under the very nose of a Democrat controlled Congress which enabled the whole thing in the hope of collecting a few goodies for pals of the leadership by adding one hundred meaningless pages to a Bill which left the Treasury Secretary free to do whatever he wanted with $375 billion of taxpayer money, and to pursue a course nowhere mentioned in the legislation nor ever discussed prior to its passage, a course which Administration insiders very well might have (and very probably did have) planned right from the beginning which will enrich cronies nearly impossible to identify to an extent making the shenanigans in Iraq look like a scandal in the Crook County building Department?
